Registration Field Mapping Overview #
To streamline the management of registration form field mappings, we are introducing a new page within the Registration suite on the CMS.
The Field Mappings page provides admins with a comprehensive overview of all current mappings, both direct and conditional, used throughout the registration form to the people library. Admins will be able to view and edit existing mappings or create new conditional mappings via an intuitive interface.
To review the Field Mappings page, navigate to the App in the CMS, in the left side menu navigate to the Registration tab, in the sub-menu under Content, select Field Mappings. You will see a table with two tabs, Direct Mappings and Conditional Mappings.
- Direct Mappings: The values in these fields can be viewed and updated, they will map directly across to the target profile and/or custom field.
- Conditional Mappings: If the specified option is selected, the registrant will be added to the specified group, session, or people tag. You can review and update existing mapping or add a new mapping here with out opening the reg form builder again.

Please Note #
- If using the Ingo Integration with the Social Widget to prefill fields from social media sites, ensure field mappings are set up and map to the correct profile field. These are the fields we are able to externally pull in:
- Email (built in field mapping, so no configuration needed)
- First Name (build in field mapping, so no configuration needed)
- Last Name (built in field mapping, so no configuration needed)
- Company (requires field mapping linked to the company name profile field)
- Job Title (required field mapping linked to job title profile field)
