Overview #
This feature enables users to import registration settings and content from other applications directly into their platform through a dialog with checkboxes. This allows users to easily transfer essential configuration elements, including branding, registration form fields, email templates, and some conditional mappings, while maintaining flexibility in what is imported.
Step By Step Guide #
Step 1: Navigate to the event app in the CMS you would like to import some registration elements to. In the app navigate to the ‘Registration’ tab and then to ‘Settings’ in the secondary menu.
Step 2: At the top right of this page, you will see an ‘Import Registration Settings’ button. Select the button, and a pop up will open.
Step 3: Within the pop up, type in the name of the app you wish to import your registration settings from, and select the appropriate boxes once you are happy with your choices you can select ‘Submit‘.
- Import registration branding & settings: This will configure the functionality and visual design of your registration site to be a replica of the app selected in the above input box (excluding your Google Analytics ID if it is populated).
- Import registration content: This will import all sections, fields and tickets from the selected app above (excluding custom field and conditional mapping).
- Import email templates: This will import all email templates from the selected app above. Please note that this will overwrite built-in templates that you may have already customised.
