May for CrowdComms: Full of events this month

May is shaping up to be a big month for CrowdComms.

Across the UK, Europe, the US and online, our team will be attending, speaking, facilitating, exhibiting, hosting and supporting a packed calendar of industry events. From badge printing and registration support to product demos, VIP dinners and face-to-face meetings, we’ll be out in force throughout the month, connecting with event professionals and showing how CrowdComms helps power smoother, smarter and more engaging event experiences.

Whether you’re an agency, association, corporate event team, internal communications professional or event technology buyer, there are plenty of opportunities to meet the CrowdComms team this May.

Here’s where you’ll find us.

Event Tech World Spring Insider Exchange

6th May | London, UK

We’re kicking off the month at the Event Tech World Spring Insider Exchange in London.

Johnny and Rory will be attending, with Rory also co-facilitating a session as part of the day’s programme. It’s a great opportunity to join the conversation around event technology, share insight with peers and explore how event teams are using digital tools to improve the attendee experience.

CrowdComms will also be supporting the event onsite by providing the badges, helping deliver a smooth and professional check-in experience for attendees from the moment they arrive.

Institute of Internal Communication Festival

6th – 7th May | Hampshire, UK

At the same time, the CrowdComms team will also be at the Institute of Internal Communication Festival in Hampshire.

Rob will be on our stand, ready to speak with internal communication professionals about how event technology can support employee engagement, internal events, conferences, festivals and community-building experiences.

Tony will also be supporting the event at the registration desk, helping with the all-important first touchpoint of the attendee journey.

Internal events have evolved significantly in recent years. Audiences expect more than a one-way broadcast. They want connection, interaction, accessibility and content that feels relevant to them. CrowdComms helps internal communications teams bring those moments together through event apps, registration, badge printing, live engagement tools and post-event insight.

Event Agency Forum, Event Organisers Summit & Event Technology Forum

11th May | London, UK

On 11th May, Rory will be representing CrowdComms in London at the Event Agency Forum, Event Organisers Summit and Event Technology Forum.

These events bring together agencies, organisers and suppliers for focused meetings and meaningful conversations. Rory will be taking meetings throughout the day, speaking with event professionals about their upcoming projects, current challenges and how CrowdComms can support everything from registration and badging to apps, engagement and analytics.

For agencies in particular, flexibility matters. You need technology that can adapt to different client briefs, different event formats and different levels of complexity. CrowdComms is built to support that, giving agencies the tools to deliver polished, branded and reliable experiences for their clients.

London Chamber of Commerce and Industry EA Club Showcase Evening

11th May | London, UK

Also on 11th May, Johnny and Matt will be attending the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry EA Club Showcase Evening.

This event is a brilliant opportunity to connect with executive assistants, business leaders and event decision-makers who are responsible for organising high-quality meetings, conferences, networking events and corporate experiences.

For EAs and corporate event organisers, the pressure is often on to deliver events that look seamless from the outside, even when there are countless moving parts behind the scenes. CrowdComms helps simplify those moving parts with event registration, branded event apps, badge printing, attendee communications and onsite support.

micebook C-Suite Event Agency Growth Summit

12th May | New York City, USA

The following day, CrowdComms heads stateside.

Matthew and Brad will be representing us at the micebook C-Suite Event Agency Growth Summit in New York City on 12th May.

This event brings together senior agency leaders to discuss growth, strategy and the future of the event industry. It is a particularly exciting moment for CrowdComms as we continue to strengthen our presence in the US market and build relationships with event professionals across North America.

We’re also providing the badges onsite, supporting the attendee experience from arrival.

Badge printing may seem like a small part of an event, but it plays a huge role in setting the tone. A smooth registration experience creates confidence. A delayed or clunky one creates frustration. Our onsite badging solution is designed to help event teams keep queues moving, reduce stress and welcome attendees professionally.

CrowdComms Live: NYC

13th May | New York City, USA

On 13th May, Matthew and Carmen will be hosting CrowdComms Live: NYC, a special VIP dinner in New York City.

This will be an intimate opportunity to bring together event professionals, clients, partners and industry friends for conversation, connection and insight.

While large-scale events are brilliant for meeting new people, smaller hosted experiences create space for deeper discussion. CrowdComms Live: NYC will allow us to explore the challenges and opportunities facing event teams in a more personal setting, from technology adoption and attendee engagement to registration, reporting and the future of live experiences.

The Experiential Exchange, Hosted by Convene in Partnership with BizBash

14th May | New York City, USA

Matthew and Carmen will also be attending The Experiential Exchange, hosted by Convene in partnership with BizBash, on 14th May in New York City.

CrowdComms will be supporting the event by providing registration and badge printing, helping create a smooth arrival experience for attendees.

Experiential events rely on first impressions. Before someone steps into the main room, hears a speaker, sees a brand activation or joins a networking session, they experience registration. That moment matters. It tells attendees whether the event feels organised, considered and professional.

Our registration and badging tools are designed to help organisers make that first impression count.

Event Tech World Digital Demo Drop In: Modern Apps

14th May | Online

Also on 14th May, Lee will be presenting at the Event Tech World Digital Demo Drop In: Modern Apps.

This online session is a chance to explore how modern event apps are supporting today’s event experiences.

Event apps have moved far beyond static agendas. They now play a central role in communication, personalisation, engagement, networking, content delivery and data capture. A well-designed event app gives attendees the information they need, when they need it, while helping organisers create a more connected and measurable experience.

Lee will be showcasing how CrowdComms supports modern event app experiences, helping organisers deliver intuitive, branded and engaging digital platforms for their audiences.

IMEX Frankfurt

19th – 21st May | Frankfurt, Germany

To round off the month, CrowdComms will be at IMEX Frankfurt from 19th to 21st May.

Matthew, Henry, Johnny and Nick will all be on stand A430 with the Meetings & Events Support Association (MESA).

IMEX is one of the biggest moments in the global meetings and events calendar, bringing together destinations, agencies, associations, corporates, suppliers and event professionals from around the world.

For CrowdComms, it’s a brilliant opportunity to meet with existing clients, connect with new contacts and discuss how event technology can support events of every shape and size.

Why We’re Showing Up in So Many Places

This busy May calendar reflects something important about CrowdComms: we don’t just provide event technology from behind a screen.

We are out there in the industry. We attend the events. We speak with organisers. We support onsite delivery. We listen to what agencies, associations and corporate teams are dealing with in real time.

That matters because event technology should never exist in isolation. It needs to work in the real world, under real pressure, with real attendees, real deadlines and real teams relying on it.

This month, we’ll be supporting events across several key areas:

Registration and badging

From London to New York, we’ll be helping organisers create smooth, professional arrival experiences with reliable badge printing and onsite registration support.

Event apps and attendee engagement

Through demos, conversations and meetings, we’ll be showing how modern event apps can improve communication, personalisation, networking and engagement.

Agency and organiser support

At events focused on agencies, organisers and senior industry leaders, we’ll be discussing how flexible technology can support different event formats, client needs and delivery models.

Internal communications and corporate events

At the IoIC Festival and EA Club Showcase Evening, we’ll be speaking with professionals who are creating events that connect employees, stakeholders and business communities.

Global event growth

With activity in New York and Frankfurt, May is also a chance to continue building our international presence and supporting clients across markets.
