CrowdComms specialise in providing a seamless, highly efficient on-demand printing solution using our range of badge printing kiosks. Depending on the kiosk model, this could include an Epson TM-C3500 printer (within our Max & Glide Kiosks), or a Zebra printer (within our Mini Kiosks).

When it comes to replicating your brand, there are some important things to consider. #
Both the Epson TM-C3500 and Zebra printers, are tried and tested, reliable printers, perfect for on-demand printing a high volume of badges.
Max & Glide Kiosks / Epson TM-C3500 printer:
- These kiosks allow for full colour printing on-demand.
- Full colour printing allows group badges (delegate, speaker, sponsor etc) to be printed, with different colours or unique designs for each group to clearly differentiate your audience.
- For additional speed, we can pre-print the core design and only print the arriving attendee’s personal details, QR code (if required) and colour strip at the kiosk. This can reduce the print time from circa 8 seconds to circa 5 seconds.
- Pre-printing can lead to waste if not handled correctly. If you choose to pre-print your badge stock we will need an accurate estimation of the number of people expected at your event.
Mini Kiosks / Zebra printer:
- Black ink printing on demand only.
- To provide a premium experience when opting for the Mini kiosks, we pre-print the badge design using an Espon TM-C3500 printer and feed this pre-printed stock into our Mini kiosks housing the Zebra printer.
- The attendee’s personal details i.e. Name, Job Title, Company & QR code are then printed on demand, on to the pre-printed badge which already includes your branding.
- The limitation of this process is that everyone will have the same colour badges regardless of group (i.e. you cannot use different colour strips to differentiate your audience).
- One option to differentiate your audience with personalised badge designs, is to pre-print your sub-groups (e.g. Speakers, Sponsors, VIPs etc) with the different colour badges, and only print your core group (e.g. Attendees) badges using the Mini Kiosks at your event.

Matching your brand colours #
In preparation for your event, we will complete a pre-print optimisation process to match your brand assets.
To provide the closest colour match, we highly recommend shipping a physical asset containing the colours you wish to use, to the CrowdComms office. This should be addressed to your Account Manager and the logistics team and include a clear reference to your event. Please include your company name, event name, your address, and the event dates. This will allow our team to colour match your badges to the physical asset.
If you are not able to send CrowdComms physical assets, we will colour match to digital assets which will not always be 100% accurate.
Important:
The Epson TM-C3500 printer is a premium on-demand printer, however, its ability to exactly match all brand colours cannot be compared to pre-printing at a print house. Please be assured the match will be very close, but not exact in some cases, depending on the colour.
Premium Pre-Printed Badges #
For clients who require an exact colour match with zero compromise, we can arrange for the badges to be pre-printed matching your exact brand colours. This requires our approved partner to pre-print the badges at a print house. This requires a four week lead time and additional costs are incurred which can be quoted upon request.
