Over the last few months, we have seen a surge of clients confidently moving towards the hybrid model of event production. With the return of in-person events gradually increasing across the globe, ensuring that there is a virtual element or contingency to most events has been crucial – and will continue to be so.
With the US opening to foreign visitors, only one day before IMEX America was due to begin, a burst of pent-up excitement was elicited from both exhibitors and visitors alike as people made their way through immigration and towards the venue. There was no better way to ‘launch’ ourselves back into the states than by heading to Las Vegas for one of the most well-attended global events in the industry.
While virtual events continue to provide event planners and organisers with a flexible and cost-effective option, 2022 looks set to see a resurgence of in-person attendees through either fully live or hybrid events. The continued return to in-person events is exciting, but keeping attendees and guests COVID-safe remains a priority for event planners and organisers.
Last week closed on a high as our teams returned from various successful events, conferences and presentations.
Event breakout sessions create a dynamic experience that provides small attendee groups with the opportunity to discuss specific issues, network and connect with session speakers and industry experts. Breakouts can also include gaming and entertainment to bond attendees or provide light relief in a busy agenda.

For those of us who live and breathe events, this new exciting option for event production is a safer, more sensitive approach to getting events back to being in-person. No wonder we’re all talking about them!
