EventEye joins CrowdComms: A New Chapter in the Nordics

We’re excited to share that EventEye is joining CrowdComms.

EventEye is a leading Scandinavian event technology business, known for supporting brilliant events across the Nordics with deep regional expertise and a customer-first approach.

Now, with CrowdComms having acquired EventEye, we’re bringing our teams together to strengthen what we deliver across Scandinavia, and expand what’s possible for event professionals around the world.

This isn’t just a milestone. It’s the next step in a long-term partnership built on shared values, shared ambition, and a belief that event technology should make the entire event experience better: for organisers, sponsors, speakers, and attendees alike.

A partnership years in the making

We’ve known EventEye’s founders, Fredrik Hoel and Ane Jemblie Kristoffersen, for over a decade. Matt, Felix and teams paths first crossed at industry events long before either company could have predicted what the event technology landscape would become.

Over the years, our relationship grew from industry friendship to collaboration, and then into a successful territory partnership, with EventEye representing CrowdComms in the Nordics for the past six years.

That long-standing partnership matters. It means this move is rooted in trust, shared knowledge, and real-world experience of delivering events together. We know the market. We know what clients need. And most importantly, we know the kind of partnership required to deliver truly great event experiences.

As Matt Allen, CEO of CrowdComms, puts it:

“The best growth comes from working with people you trust, share ambition with, and genuinely enjoy spending time with. EventEye’s deep regional expertise and CrowdComms’ global scale are a powerful combination and I’m looking forward to this next chapter.”

Why Scandinavia, and why now?

Scandinavia represents one of the most exciting event technology markets in the world. With high digital maturity, world-class event production, and a strong culture of innovation, the Nordics are a natural fit for modern, data-driven event platforms.

It’s a region filled with global brands, forward-thinking agencies, and event teams who expect more from technology, not just in terms of features, but in terms of usability, reliability, and measurable outcomes.

By bringing EventEye into the CrowdComms group, we’re investing further in this region and strengthening our ability to support Nordic agencies and enterprise teams with a best-in-class platform, backed by local expertise and a proven delivery team.

What this means for event customers

For EventEye customers, the message is simple: the people and support you know aren’t going anywhere, supported by CrowdComms award winning event technology platform.

For CrowdComms customers, it means something equally exciting: stronger regional coverage in the Nordics, and an even more connected global team supporting the platform.

The combined strengths of both teams unlock new opportunities across technology, delivery, and innovation, and most importantly, a better experience for every client we work with.

As Fredrik Hoel shares:

“EventEye is thrilled to become part of CrowdComms. We’ve always shared the same values, trust and ambition, and I’m excited for this next chapter as we scale what we can deliver for the Nordic market.”

Fredrik will lead the region as Managing Director, CrowdComms Nordic, and we’re looking forward to welcoming him and the team to CrowdComms as we officially begin this new chapter together.

A bigger global story: scaling where our clients need us most

This move isn’t happening in isolation. It’s part of a wider strategy to ensure CrowdComms can support the world’s leading events, wherever they take place.

Over the last year, we’ve expanded our presence in the United States, responding to growing demand for event platforms that can deliver personalised, data-driven event experiences at scale.

The US market has pushed the pace of innovation in events, and we’ve been proud to support enterprise clients and agencies as they create more connected experiences, across live, hybrid, and multi-location formats.

Now, with EventEye joining CrowdComms, we’re strengthening that global momentum with deeper roots in Europe’s most innovative event tech region.

Because when organisers choose a platform, they’re not just choosing software. They’re choosing a partner who can support them across time zones, across languages, across complex stakeholder teams, and across the full event lifecycle, from pre-event registration to on-site delivery and post-event analytics.

Looking Forward

We believe the future of events will be defined by experiences that feel seamless for attendees and powerful for organisers, experiences driven by data, shaped by creativity, and supported by technology that’s built to perform at the highest level.

EventEye joining CrowdComms helps us do exactly that.

It strengthens our footprint in the Nordics, accelerates our ability to deliver locally with global backing, and expands our global capacity to support some of the world’s most ambitious events.

Most importantly, it brings together two teams who care deeply about the event industry and who are excited to build what comes next.

Here’s to building something special together.
