The move strengthens CrowdComms Nordic and increases capacity and support for customers in the Nordic and Scandinavian region.
The acquisition builds on a long-standing relationship between the two businesses. CrowdComms has known EventEye’s founders, Fredrik Hoel and Ane Jemblie Kristoffersen, for over a decade, with EventEye serving as a CrowdComms territory partner for the past six years.
By bringing the teams together, CrowdComms Nordic customers will benefit from increased local capacity, access to a wider global support team and extended coverage, and enhanced enterprise capabilities for large and complex event programmes. The combined organisation will also make it easier to support Nordic clients delivering events internationally, with consistent platform delivery and expertise across regions.
“The best growth comes from working with people you trust, share ambition with, and genuinely enjoy spending time with,” said Matt Allen, CEO of CrowdComms. “EventEye’s deep regional expertise and CrowdComms’ global scale are a powerful combination and I’m looking forward to this next chapter.”
“EventEye is thrilled to become part of CrowdComms,” said Fredrik Hoel, Managing Director, CrowdComms Nordic. “We’ve always shared the same values — trust and ambition — and I’m excited for this next chapter as we scale what we can deliver for the Nordic market.”
As part of the acquisition, Fredrik Hoel will lead CrowdComms Nordic as Managing Director. EventEye customers will continue to be supported by the same local team they know, now backed by CrowdComms’ wider organisation and international delivery capabilities.
The acquisition follows CrowdComms’ recent expansion into the United States, reinforcing its strategy to combine strong regional teams with a platform built to support global event programmes, for customers across the Nordic and Scandinavian region.
