BACKGROUND

At a packed broker conference at Sydney’s ICC, Lendi Group CEO and Co-Founder David Hyman and executives shared and showcased the company’s bold new vision to transform Aussie from a linear mortgage broking business into a fully integrated property ecosystem supporting Australians to Find, Buy, and Own property. 

Over two-packed days, across main stage presentations, breakouts and interactive workshops, the Group unveiled an unprecedented range of new products and services that position the brand at every touchpoint in the customer’s property journey.  

CrowdComms developed a bespoke end-to-end digital solution that met Lendi Group’s need for a high-end platform that could deliver a seamless experience from the very first ticket to the very last session. It was a high-stakes, pivotal event that needed a partner to deliver to perfection.

EVENT GOALS

CHALLENGES

  1. Registration and ticketing required advanced customisation, including different attendance options, multiple payment methods, and integration into a user-friendly, content-rich registration website.
  2. Event organisers needed a fully customised on-site badge printing and check-in system  that could handle high volumes smoothly and professionally.
  3. Delivering a consistent and immersive brand experience across the registration site, mobile app, and event materials—including support for custom fonts, branding, and  domain—was essential but resource-intensive.
  4. The event required robust engagement tools (e.g., alerts, push notifications, personal schedules, and QR-based gamification) that could adapt to changing needs and maintain attendee interest across sessions and locations.
  5. Despite internal organisational change, the digital solution needed to support complex coordination, bulk content uploads, and feature management—requiring close collaboration and consistent project leadership from the CrowdComms team.

 

SOLUTION

  1. CrowdComms developed a fully branded, content-rich registration site tailored to the event’s complex ticketing needs—supporting partner attendance options, flexible payment methods, and integrated app functionality for a seamless user experience.
  2. Reliable on-site badge printing and check-in solutions, including QR code scanning, ensured smooth and professional entry management for up to 1,000 attendees.
  3. A custom mobile app was designed and delivered, featuring personal schedules, session bookings, attendee messaging, gamification (e.g., scavenger hunt), and gala dinner table assignments—reinforcing brand identity while enhancing user engagement.
  4. CrowdComms maintained continuity with dedicated project management, bulk data handling, regular check-ins, and a three-person on-site team ensuring smooth event execution.
  5. The team enabled effective attendee communication through alerts, push notifications, and email campaigns, while also delivering training and guidance so the Thrive 25 team could manage updates, imagery, and app edits independently.

 

CONCLUSION
