CrowdComms News: Event App For IC Matters

We are delighted to support the upcoming Internal Communications Conference, IC Matters on October 7th. Now in its third year, the conference is hosted by Newsweaver, a leading internal communications software company. A firm fixture on the annual event calendar, the conference is a must attend for internal communicators at all levels. From Communications Directors and Managers to Executives and associates.

The 2016 conference will include sessions from industry thought leaders. You can also look forward to strategy workshops that will deliver valuable tips, learnings and actionable insights.

The conference’s goal is for attendees to come away with the knowledge, tools and strategies to demonstrate tangible IC value to internal stakeholders.

The Event App

In 2015 CrowdComms provided the event app and we are delighted to create another great event app for the 2016 attendees.

Attendee networking is a key component of the conference again this year.  Event app users can search for attendees by areas of interest and use the app’s secure messaging system to make connections before, during and after the live event.

This year the app will include our new discussion boards to get the conversation started on key topics long before the event begins.

As always IC Matters attendees will be able to use the app to participate in live audience polls and submit questions and comments to speakers and panels.

Last year we ran a competition for attendees. Contestants simply entered a prize draw at the CrowdComms’ exhibition stand and the lucky winner won a free event app for one of their own events.

We’re delighted to announce that we plan to run a similar competition this year.
