An evening of glitz, glamour and recognition awaits the CrowdComms UK team! On the 9th of November we’ll be attending the 2016 Event Tech Awards at the fabulous pop-up venue Supernova in the Embankment Gardens in London. We are really excited as this year we have been shortlisted for not one but three awards:

Event Gaming
First up is Best Use of Gamification.
Helping event planners achieve event objectives through event app gaming is something we are increasingly asked to do.
Our nomination in this category is for an employee meeting for a large pharmaceutical company that took place in Germany in May, 2016.
We worked closely with Touch Associates and the team at the pharmaceutical company. Excellent teamwork resulted in a game that was a huge success and a real highlight of the event.
It helped facilitate learning and an extraordinary level of attendee-to-attendee networking.
2. Best Event App
The second award we are nominated for, is of course, Best Event App.
We truly believe we offer the most compelling proposition for event planners.
EventMobi, the event app platform we use, is the mostly widely used event app in the world. Over 8,000 organisations currently use the app!
A great event app is of course crucial, but for most event planners the services available in addition are just as important. This is where we shine. We often manage the content upload into the app for time poor planners or go onsite to run the live polling and Q&A during the event itself.
We are incredibly proud of our service and the fact that 95% of clients say they would recommend us to other event planner.
3. Best Technology Partnership
Last, but definitely not least, is the Best Technology Partnership.
We are thrilled to be shortlisted for this one with EventMobi.
Our partnership started when event apps were just starting to replace paper and bespoke hardware solutions at events. Canada is long way away from the UK and Australia so we needed an app with a rock solid content management system so we could work efficiently during our own time zone.
With EventMobi we got that right from the start. Along with a proactive and very responsive partner who we continue to work with on thousands of events every year.
